Nick will be bravely competing in this year’s Ironman Austria challenge on June 30th, pushing himself through a swim, bike ride and a lengthy run, all in aid of COINS Foundation.

The event will take place this weekend, starting in Strandbad Klagenfurt. He will swim 3.8km, cycle 180km (from Klagenfurt through Südufer to Velden) and run 42.1km along the shore of Wörthersees. He will finish the mighty challenge in Klagenfurter city.

You can follow his ‘journey from ordinary man to Ironman’ on his blog where he shares his training progress, information about the challenge and an insight as to why he chose to support COINS Foundation.

His reasoning… ‘COINS Foundation is not a massive faceless charity but an independent, driven and real one that I’m beginning to feel a real connection with.’

His goal… ‘To finish, frankly and not die. And as a consequence to raise awareness and a buck or two for a great cause.’
