On Monday 24th November, COINS Foundation was invited to attend Habitat for Humanity’s networking event at the Amber Bar in London. Around 60 guests attended and were able to learn about their new Habitat Heroes programme, which encourages individuals to support Habitat in a multitude of ways. Habitat is looking for volunteers to help spread the word about their charity and participate in various activities, such as their Paris to London Cycle Challenge 2015 and their international Global village trips. They are also looking for local volunteers and regular supporters.

The networking event provided their existing supporters with a chance to connect with each other. Delicious refreshments were provided and a magician weaved his way through the crowd. Habitat’s vision is “for a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live through the elimination of housing poverty and homelessness”.
